Interactive Brokers does not respond to orders made on sierra chart

When i enter orders on Sierra chart, the orders do not respond on IBKR. They do not appear at all on IBKR. Is there a simple setting or something that I may be missing somewhere?

After going through the setup documentation multiple times and looking through the support boards, I have not been able to find a solution.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so how did you fix it?

I had similar problem quite a while ago, the very first order of day I sent
from a chart window didn't appear on TWS window, but from second order and
forward, it seemed fine.

I assumed that was caused by IB's API and there were nothing Sierra could do,
so I just place orders in TWS window, and didn't bother to check if the issue
is still there for the new Sierra versions, I don't want take any chances.

Most likely the problem is you have Trade >> Trade Simulation Mode On enabled. Disable that.

Regarding post #2, we have never heard of a problem like that before with TWS. You should test again. We would not expect you would have that problem.

YES! It was as simple as turning off trade simulation. Thank you for your quick response!
