Hello support, I am considering go back to SC, and I am primarily trading Asian products, I saw your order route and denali do not support Asian Exchanges, so I must use CQG.

However I saw your post New Teton Order Routing Service for CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX, FairX, upcoming EUREX | Post: 288462 is that true?
Using package 10 for me is acceptable because I occasionally trade CME or EUREX, but I can't accept using package 11 and package 12, because I don't use footprint chart and BMO data(I also saw others complain about it at other forum).

If in future, I must use package 11 and package 12 to use CQG to trade Asian products, then I will dismiss the idea of going back to SC forever.

Soon service package 10 will be required to use CQG, and at some point service package 11 will be required.

There are no plans to require service package 12 at this time.

It is also possible at some point we could discontinue support for CQG. That would not happen though until 2023 at the soonest. But you can still use Interactive Brokers.

And also Sierra Chart is the most important software/component that you use when trading in the markets and which brings success. If you are successful in the markets, the price of Sierra Chart is going to be irrelevant at its extremely low price point.

Sierra, you entirely miss the point. The original poster is primarily trading Asian markets.

Sierra Chart Engineering states:
"It is also possible at some point we could discontinue support for CQG. That would not happen though until 2023 at the soonest. But you can still use Interactive Brokers."

What good is it to recommend Interactive Brokers when Asian market traders want access to bid/ask tick data? It should be obvious that this is why Asian market traders are using CQG - there are no alternatives.

The original poster is not the only one in this situation.

Well we will keep CQG support for the Asian markets, but we will need to charge more for it once we have users off of it for CME Group and EUREX.

You should also realize our focus is on the exchanges, where most of our customers and potential customers are trading.

Completely not true - *cough* FairX

There is not much effort to support FairX and it does not cost anything. Nothing at all.

And as far as our time to support it, we waste monumental more amount of time answering stupid questions about market data from the CME. We had worked on FairX in our spare time here and there, and overall compared to other things we do, it was very little effort.

FairX is an exchange which is designed to bring fairness into the marketplace for trading. There is a massive difference.

There is a huge difference. Do not argue with that. You do not understand the facts and the hard realities that we have to put up with dammit. We had about enough of the damn tyranny in this world and from exchanges. Enough is enough.

We don't give a damn about Asian exchanges. They are tyrants like everyone else.

This thread is locked we want to hear anything further.

Everyone wants to try to get they want out of Sierra Chart but they do not understand the harsh realities put upon us.

Asian exchanges are not worth it for us. They are not worth it. They are not worth it because they are greedy tyrants like all the rest of them and they make it very very difficult to work with themselves, and they are very costly. They are not worth it. They are not worth it!

Go elsewhere if you want Asian exchanges. We don't want to hear about this.
