I'm preparing for my move to the Sierra Data feed and routing service and I've moved some custom .wav files to the SierraChart/Alertsounds directoy. These files play with Windows Media Player and previously worked from the TransAct Alert directory but do not play now. I'm at a loss as to what to do as these previously played with no problems.

I have since discovered that no alert sounds are playing. The mute button is off.

Refer to the following: General Settings Window: Troubleshooting for Alert Sounds That Do Not Play For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Very confusing situation. I waited for your answer before testing the sounds and now they are working in the charts, however, when I test the sound in the Global setting window they don't work. I guess this is what confused me as I was testing the sound files.

With the new dialog windows, you have to double-click the row to access.

Doesn't work. All I get is the Windows ding. BTW, I really don't like those new dialog boxes.

I can confirm this. The [Test Sound] Button only tests AlertSound.wav which is Ding. |

We see this and will look into it.
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

We have this fixed and it will be in the next pre-release (v 2354).

Another small point: On the Global Settings >> General Settings >> General2 tab >> - Server Connected Alert - Server Connection Lost Alert These don't show the assigned User Defined Names for the Alert#s. |
