I am using a simple volume study at the bottom of my footprint chart with wide volume bars horizontal along the bottom of the chart. I would like to add a label on each volume bar with the volume amount that would display at the top or bottom inside each volume bar (maintaining the history as well as the current bar). I am using draw style "Bar" but it does not give me the option to place a value label on each and every bar. Can I do this with a different draw syte? |

It is fairly easy to get the volume to display at the top of each volume bar. Just use the Study Subgraph Reference to reference the Volume Study (and make sure it is displayed in the same region) then set the Subgraph Draw Style to Value of Subgraph. You will also need to change the Width/Size to something viewable such as a value of 8 or 10. Refer to the information for the Study Subgraph Reference here: Study Subgraph Reference And refer to the Draw Style of Value of Subgraph here: Chart Studies: Value of Subgraph (ACSIL: DRAWSTYLE_VALUE_OF_SUBGRAPH) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

The amounts are displaying well. Is there a way to format the volume labels with a comma for thousands? Such as 20664 is displayed as 20,664?

There is not a way to format the numbers with a comma. Sierra Chart does not do this. But, you can use a Large Number Formatting option to display numbers greater than 9,999 with a Suffix notation. Such that a number like 10400 would display as 10.4k. To do this set the Value Format for the Study Subgraph Reference study to Large Integer with Suffix. I have 2 Volume studies in the same region. One volume study has a bar and the second has the text value of the volume. My issue is that for larger bars the text which is showing at the top of the bar, is getting cut in half - is there a way to format either one of these studies so the text does not get cut off for larger volume bars that stick up higher than the rest?

What Draw Style are you using for the Volume study that is drawn as text? Can you also get us a screenshot to see what you are seeing. You can take a screenshot by following these instructions: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#PostingAnImage For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

@countryboy92. Hi, fellow user here. Left click on the right-hand side scale of the volume region and drag the mouse up/down to adjust the "zoom". You can also right-click on the scale for many other options.

Yes you need to use Interactive Scale Move or Range in the region where those Volume studies are, to fully see the values if they are cut off. I would like to show the volume aligned at the bottom of the chart. Is there a way for Volume study, Draw Style "value of subgraph" which displays the text volume amount at each bar or candle (in my footprint) to display the volume in a straight line across instead of at the top of each bar (where the volume text displays higher up for larger volume and lower down for lower volume). I just want the volume text to display at the flush bottom for each candle regardless of volume size.

To do this, refer to this study: Study Subgraph Above/Below Bar as Text In the next release it will support displaying the volumes at the bottom of the chart region.
