Hi

I am having trouble getting market order data on my DOM. I believe i am recieving the correct data as I am using number bars which show me this data, however i can not get my DOM to display it, I can only see the bid/ask. I have tried adding studys and a collumn for this data however all that appears is a blank collumn.

Please can you let me know what i may be missing.

Thanks

First of all, the Numbers Bars study is based on orders and the traded quantities. The Market Depth is a listing of the limit orders that are on the price ladder waiting for the price to move to there location. These are two very different things.

We are not sure if you are referring to general Market Depth data, or the Market by Order data. Therefore, we will answer both.

You are setup to get the Market Depth data, therefore go through the following section to troubleshoot why you are not getting the Market Depth data on your charts:
Global Trade Settings Windows: Troubleshooting Market Depth Data Not Displaying in Chart/Trade DOM Columns

Note the link at the end of the documentation above that gives a link to more information on possible reasons why you would not be getting the full list of Market Depth data.

With regards to the Market By Order (MBO) data, then the first issue is that you are not on Package 12, which is required in order to view the data. Also, refer to the following instructions for the MBO data:

What do you mean by "market orders"?

We do not know what that is referring to.

What you have highlighted does not look like market by order data which has a similar name:

Hi

What i mean is I'd like to see the information i am recieving on my numbers bars, to be displayed in the DOM chart.
'First of all, the Numbers Bars study is based on orders and the traded quantities'
These orders are what i mean by market orders.
I have seen traders on youtube with this information displayed so i know it is possible some how.

There are various Chart/Trade DOM columns you can add. They are all documented here:

global settings then symbol settings. locate what symbol you trade and change the minimum market order by order quantity from zero to custom whatever number you see fit
