I am not able to close opened position on a SIM acc in the 2-nd instance.
1st instance has no opened sim/live trades and is ok.
Deleted all the catalogue SierraChartInstance_2.
Opened again new instance from the main instance and opened position still exists and working.
How to manage this?
Image attached.
Pls advise.
Thank you

Easiest thing to do now is to exit from the sub instance and delete the TradePositions.data file in the sub instance folder.

Exit from the main instance and also the sub instance. In the installation folders for both of these, delete the TradePositions.data file and then you can start the main instance and start the sub instance after.

The position will be gone.

Tried and it did not not work, position still working.
2-nd instance always has the following first ServiceLog line

"Trade Activity file unexpected condition. Did not find FIELD_CODE_BEGIN_RECORD when expected. Field code read: 16777216. E:\SierraChart\SierraChartInstance_2\TradeActivityLogs\TradeActivityLog_2022-01-13_UTC.Sim1.data | 2022-01-15 03:59:30.610 *"

What can we do else to solve this?

This is not a Position. This is a file error with the Trade Activity Log. You will need to delete this data file to remove that error:

E:\SierraChart\SierraChartInstance_2\TradeActivityLogs\TradeActivityLog_2022-01-13_UTC.Sim1.data

Deleted but of course that not helped with opened position as you mentioned.
Pls find attached ServiceLog scan - can you read from there what should be done to close non-stop working position on sim at 2-nd instance?

This does not make sense. If you have deleted the TradePositions.data file from both instances when they are not running and you start Sierra Chart again, all of the positions listed in Trade >> Trade Positions Window will be gone. They will not be there.

For me it also does not make sense since I was not sending such orders.

Updated to current 2345, in Trade>Trade Positions Window there is still position with quantity 0... > attached

Did you look at attachement from #9 from ServiceLog?
Is there smth unusual?

This position will automatically clear if the quantity is 0.

No.

Since though that is a simulated position, you would have to enable this option on the main instance of Sierra Chart in order to take any action on it in the sub instance:
Trade Menu: Trade Simulation Mode On (Trade menu)

After having the main instance on SIM mode, opened 2-nd instance and checked if it was also on SIM mode and after trying to flatten there is a system announcement as in attached file.
Pls advise how to manage it.

You need to disable Trade Simulation Mode in the sub instance. This will avoid that particular error.
