We definitely want our Transact users to continue with Sierra Chart, but we are going to be phasing out support for Transact. No specific timetable is given. This is a process which we are beginning. The first step, is this announcement.

Therefore, no technical support is provided any longer for any Transact specific issues.

We want you to move on to a fully superior market data and order routing system (The Denali Data Feed and Teton Order Routing).

You will have absolutely superior service by moving to our Teton order routing and working with a broker that supports this:

If you would like help with this, let us know and we can then direct you to a broker who will work with you to move to our Teton order routing service and Denali data feed.

The broker Stage 5 is headed by a former Infinity broker. Stage 5 supports the Teton Order Routing service.

It is important to work with us directly and to work with brokers who fully support Sierra Chart superior systems. This is the proper way for you to get the best support and quality from Sierra Chart.

It is much easier for you to move to a new broker, rather than change to a different charting and trading platform. From what we understand your new broker will provide you an account transfer form and they will handle the details.

And we would like you to recognize, that Sierra Chart works hard to provide our users the best service. Transact, is an external entity, which cannot provide you the best quality services for Sierra Chart. Only we are able to do that with our own services and systems that we control fully ourselves. This also goes with other systems we work with, like CQG.

Transact has also been sold to Ninja trader brokerage who is a competitor. There is already a conflict of interest here.

If you want the very best market data and the very best order routing at the lowest cost and the best commissions, you need to move to our Denali data feed and Teton order routing.

You need to act in your interest. And in the interest of Sierra Chart and be supportive of us.

These statements, are here to ensure, that Sierra Chart customers get the best quality service and the best prices. Whenever brokers are willing to work with us, we will always do our best to accommodate them so long as they support our Teton Order Routing Service.

So we are not here to be taking away business from particular brokers, but instead to work to provide the best service to our customers and we ask, that our customers be supportive of us.

It is important to act in your interest, and in the interest of Sierra Chart in order so that you get the highest quality services at the best prices.

Transact is a business which has been sold. Quality businesses, which are own and controlled, and have people who work for them which are all dedicated to what they do and they do their very best, and have a strong vision for the future to serve their customers and the world, are not sold and have the owners go away.

Sierra Chart is a strong business and we innovate, and we are creating the best solutions, to serve customers. And we have a lot of good ideas, sometimes they take us a long time to get them done though, but we work hard to do good things.

When you move to a broker who supports the Teton Order Routing Service:

and away from Transact/Ninja Trader brokerage, and they ask you why you are moving your account, you simply say the following:

I am very happy with Sierra Chart. I have been a long-term Sierra Chart user and I want to continue to use Sierra Chart. Sierra Chart is going to be discontinuing Transact soon.

So I do not want any interruptions. I have looked over the information about the Teton Order Routing service and the Denali Exchange Data Feed and I have watched the webinar presentations about these services. I am more than satisfied that the services, are going to provide me a much higher quality level of service than I had before.

If they tell you, they can move you to CQG or Rithmic, then you say the following:

CQG and Rithmic have per transaction costs($0.10-$0.25 per contract). With Teton order routing I pay nothing. And based upon the information communicated to me by Sierra Chart, I will have a much higher quality level of order routing with Teton, as compared to CQG or Rithmic.

And furthermore, the cost to use CQG with Sierra Chart will significantly increase. And Sierra Chart does not want more users on CQG and Sierra Chart can provide customers a much higher quality level of service with the Teton order routing service which currently supports CME Group and FairX. Soon EUREX will be added.

Or you do not have to say anything. You can just simply let the account transfer go through and just simply not respond.

And for the record, Sierra Chart strongly regrets adding support for the websocket connection method from Transact. We should not have done that.

Move off of Transact as soon as possible for your own good.

Got error messages referencing unknown accounts on Transact recently.

Spurious background connections to other account numbers via MTS, it seems.

Not good news at all.
