Getting option lists - OPT and FOPs

Hi SCE, 2 questions:

1) is there a way to lookup option contracts on equity index ETFs like QQQ & SPY? If I go to Find Symbol >> Stocks >> (enter text), I can input QQQ and open a Chart, but no 'Get Options' button is shown.

2) (reposting this one, which was asked in reply to an earlier thread #48132) Could you add a simple button to the 'Get Options' pop-up menu/box, which allows the user to highlight all option contracts listed, and copy the text to clipboard for pasting elsewhere (e.g. external spreadsheet)? I'd assume the fields could be copied with tab or comma delimiters?
This would be helpful, since I can't get the list via ACSIL.

1. Okay, if not available to look up a list, please specify the symbol convention in SC for equity index ETF options like this.

Using TD Ameritrade/Thinkorswim as example, the symbol for a 450 strike, 12/3/21 expiry Call option for SPY is '.SPY211203C450'

2. Thank you.

1. There is no symbol convention. That is not specified by us, but instead by the particular Data or Trading service you are using.

I'm using 'SC Data - All Services', and subscribed to Service Package 3.

Sorry, I looked through the documentation briefly & didn't see it, but have now found the link through another thread: Interactive Brokers Symbols: Options Format

I tried this as a test symbol: SPY-OPT-20211203-460-C-SMART-100-USD

But the Chart window message is "Symbol settings not found for current service" Is the symbol format wrong, am I on too low of a service package, or something else?

The Options data is simply not available through our data feed. Therefore, it doesn't matter what symbol format you use, you will not get the information.

If you are using another data feed, then the symbol you would use would depend on the data feed.

Thank you, John. So last question on this: will the upcoming NYSE/NASDAQ feed include equity (index) option data?

Hi SCE, just following up on my request for a button "within the 'Get Options' pop-up menu/box, which allows the user to highlight all option contracts listed, and copy the text to clipboard for pasting elsewhere."
