I tried for the last few days to chart a few US Stocks, and I was not able to chart intra-day. Charts were displayed for Historical Charts (which are greater than 1 day interval). The only was that worked was by switching "Data/Trade Service" to "SC Data-All Services".

I have the "Allow Support for SC Data Feeds" set to "Yes". I disconnected and reconnected to feed, and then restarted SC as well. I then updated to the latest SC Version, and now running 2326 (64-bit, Revision 39843). Service is set to "CQG WebAPI (Trading)". I am now on Package 5, and recently switched from 11. This issues was with 11 as well.

I get the following messages on my chart when I change a symbol (any intra-day interval):
1) in Orange: Symbol is unknown. Click for symbol information. Exact match not found for symbol WMT.
2) in Red: Download Failed. Error downloading historical intraday data for WMT. The symbol in unknown to the server.

I read through related posts, and could not get it to work as expected.

Your input is appreciated.

Everything you are stating is correct and makes sense (at least to us). Since your service is set to CQG, we expect that you will be getting the data from CQG, unless you have specifically activated an exchange with us, in which case, you would get that data from us and any other data would come from CQG.

Also, if you just want to have delayed data, then having your service set to SC Data - All Services is how you do it. In that case, you are not trying to connect to CQG to get data, and any data you get is coming from us. Therefore, the solution to this is to install a second Sierra Chart on your computer and leave the service set to SC Data - All Services. That way, you can get the delayed data for the U.S. Stocks in that instance and get your data from CQG in the other instance. Refer to the following for how install a second Sierra Chart:
Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time: Step-By-Step Instructions to Install Multiple Copies of Sierra Chart

If you want to get real-time data for stocks, then you can just keep using the one Sierra Chart instance, but you will need to setup the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed and activate the U.S. Equities exchange within that setup. Refer to the information on the following page, which also includes Setup Instructions:

I am trading futures through AMP/CQG, and intend to use my current setup for now.

Since I only need delayed Stocks data, the 2nd installation will solve my problem. I already have multiple instances associated with the CQG Credentials.

I am opening SC on 2 computers, and wonder if the 2nd install on one computer will mean that I need to add a 3rd system.

Last, I see that I will get a 3rd system (allowable separate connections) when I was in Package 11. What does the Denali offer me, if I don’t intend to have data through Denali?

Also, I believe that I previously saw an option for US Equities for $10, but I don’t seem to find it anymore. Any idea on that?

Thanks again.

You are allowed to run the Sierra Chart software on 2 computers simultaneously. You can have as many installations on a computer as you need, but you can only have 2 computers running simultaneously.

The data feeds have different rules for how many computers, but it does not sound like you are using more than one computer at a time for any given data feed, so this would not be something you would need to worry about.

If you were to get the Denali Data, then if you wanted the data to 2 different systems simultaneously, then you would need to pay the exchange fees twice. You can not get the data to more than 2 systems simultaneously. Refer to the following:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: Connections

You can get the U.S. Equities for an exchange fee of $10.50. This is part of the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed. This data can only be used on one computer at a time and has no ability to use it on more than the one system. Refer to the following page for information on this data feed along with Setup Instructions:
