Hi
- am currently using SCv2315

a)
-when I open SC, i have a saved chartbook that opens with symbol F.US.MESZ21[M]
- All was Ok yesterday.
- Today, upon opening SC got a series of vertical 0 values for my numbers bars starting at date 2010-10-14.
- i have tried opening other chartbooks, with same problem. Changing symbol settings to MNQZ21 , MYMZ21 hass same problem. Interrestingly, M6AZ21 has no problem.
- Have also noticed Last in chart header showed "Infinity" for MESZ21
- tried "Edit >Delete all Data and download" several times. I get no data before 20-10-14. Have restarted computer several times.

b) thought i may need to update to current version. Have tried several times, but unable to. Get a
message "Maximum number of retries encountered. Refer to log.Download cancelled." Several messages "MD5 for file does not match." with File either Crash Reporter.exe , File SierraChart_64.exe , File:SierraChartStudies_64.exe ....

Assistance re a) and b) appreciated.

Thanks in advance

A) Most of the time when this occurs it is because the chart is a Daily or higher timeframe chart using the Historical daily data. That data does NOT include Ask/Bid information, which is why all of the information would be zeros.

If it is an Intraday chart, then remove the Numbers Bars study and ensure that the underlying data is all there and that the bars look good. If there is any missing data, select Edit >> Delete All Data and Download and select the contracts for the data that is missing.

B) Please try again and if it fails then select the button at the top of the installer for Send Log to Support. Let us know if you send the log so we can take a look at it.

This is all very confusing. Focus on just one issue only and one issue only.

Also there are limits to how far back data is available for particular contracts and some contracts do not have tick by tick data back at 2010. So you will see zeros for bid volume and volume.

Tell us one particular issue and only one particular issue only, and post an image of a chart that shows that problem:
