I am a TransAct user and continually get these messages when I start Sierra. I have clicked the do not show button numerous times to no avail.

2021-08-09 IMPORTANT NOTICE: Effective July 1, 2021, the new highest quality EUREX EOBI real-time and historical data which is part of the Denali Exchange Data Feed is recommended to be used for all Sierra Chart users requiring real-time EUREX data in Sierra Chart. This is the very best EUREX data feed which is not offered anywhere else.

and

Sierra chart is a "Live" data connection. Live, Simulated Live and Test are the only options. I can't trade if it's not live. I've changed it to the other selections but no matter which is selected the error saying the option I've selected is wrong.

There is a notice after starting Sierra Chart and connecting to the data feed which does indicate this:
Sierra chart is a "Live" data connection.

This is an informational message for Transact users.

The message about EUREX data should not appear every time you run Sierra Chart.

There is a button on the System Notification Window to view the message in the browser. Do that and then provide the complete text here.

These messages appear every time I start Sierra.
Here are the complete messages from the broweser:

TransAct Connection Type is *Live*. Change in 'File >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service Settings >> Connection Type'.
This message is telling me to change the connection. It is live.

This message is talking about Denali Eurex which I don't have.
- 2021-08-09 IMPORTANT NOTICE: Effective July 1, 2021, the new highest quality EUREX EOBI real-time and historical data which is part of the Denali Exchange Data Feed is recommended to be used for all Sierra Chart users requiring real-time EUREX data in Sierra Chart. This is the very best EUREX data feed which is not offered anywhere else.

It is a requirement to at the very least be on Sierra Chart Service Package 10, 11 or 12 which includes the Denali Data Feed, however there is not a requirement to pay for the EUREX exchange fee if you will be obtaining EUREX data from another source. You can still obtain EUREX data from external sources, although it is not recommended. If you do not pay for the EUREX exchange fee through Sierra Chart, then all EUREX real-time data will come from the other source, not from Sierra Chart.

To use this new EUREX data feed, refer to the Denali Exchange Data Feed EUREX setup instructions. In this case if you are paying for EUREX data through your broker you will want to *cancel* that data from them, before July 1, 2021.

- Sierra Chart now has a new high-quality, low latency, extended/full order book with MBO, EUREX data feed from Frankfurt which is part of the Denali Exchange Data Feed. For the technical details of this data feed, refer to EUREX Technical Information.

To use this data feed, refer to the Denali Exchange Data Feed EUREX setup instructions.

No you do not need to change the connection type. It is just explaining how to do it if necessary.

How are you starting Sierra Chart? We recommend using the shortcut on your desktop and not running from the Transact software.

+1, INCREDIBLY ANNOYING. Same pop-ups that you can’t get rid of month after month. No matter how many times - and by now it’s been over 100 - I click “do not show again” it still pops up every time. Updated to v2320 this morning hope it would finally go away, nope. Please fix this. Thanks.

Why do you recommend not running from Transact? I’ve been with Transact/Infinity using Sierra for 11yrs, no issues other than the idiotic two pop-ups I have to close each time. Thanks

There is nothing for us to fix:
Please fix this.
The issue is not reproducible. The cause in your case is unknown. Maybe because the main configuration file may be cannot be saved.

Over the years, there are various odd issues caused by when Sierra Chart is run from another program as a child process. This is why we recommend not running Sierra Chart from the Transact software.

It looks like there are at least 2 users with this problem. I do start Sierra from a desktop icon. I haven't replied earlier because I will be leaving Sierra in the future.

You cannot look at other users posts to conclude they are having the same issue. Some issues can seem similar, but they are different, and have various causes.

We can do a remote assistance session if you want to observe the issue and see if there is any issue with the updating of the main configuration file. Let us know if you want us to do this. Make sure your current telephone number is set here:

And also if you have a need for a program like Sierra Chart and you are having issues with Transact, we recommend using this service:

We are discontinuing support for Transact at the end of the year.
