Sierra Chart CME Direct Order Routing: Getting started

According to your post (Now Released: Upcoming CME Direct Routing | Post: 279601) SC CME Direct Order Routing will be launching soon. Congratulations for that!

Stage 5 will be the first broker supporting the service.

A few questions before getting started:
1. Can I just open an account with stage 5 and choose the SC CME Direct Order Routing service?
2. Does the service cost something, how much, how is it charged?
3. Dorman, Philip and AMP might be offering the service too. How long will it approx. take until they're offering the service?
4. Information / experiences from anyone welcome about these brokers (commissions/fees, service, reliability) -> Stage 5 or waiting until others are ready?

1. Yes.

2. There is no additional cost. Only the cost of Sierra Chart. The simple fact is, is that we reduce costs dramatically for clearing firms and users by providing direct order routing.

3. We cannot give time estimates but we fully expect all of them to support the service. When is an unknown. Probably before the end of the year. Or it could be January or February. We really do not know.

will the currently used order routing based on TT technology automatically switch to cme direct order routing without requiring me to do any additional operations?
and after using it for several months, I found that the existing order routing service has inaccurate display of account balance, and trading statistics lack several key data statistics items. These problems will be resolved in a subsequent update?

You will have to translate the symbols. But there is an Edit menu command for this:
Edit Menu: Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service

Yes this will be resolved, the account balance data will be updated every five seconds.

We need to know specifically what you are referring to.


The current Sierra Chart Order Routing service provides complete and accurate order fill history for the Trade Statistics:

So you definitely should not be having a problem with this currently.

AMP sent an email indicating they will support SC's Direct Order Routing. They want to wait until post-launch to make certain everything is working and stable before they jump in.

I recently opened an account with Advantage Futures in order to start using the new routing service ASAP. Thus far has been a great experience, very professional, responsive team.

I expect great things from the new Routing Service and look forward to start testing it. Will report back after completing some trades.

Cost is .10 USD per contract for order routing. No other order routing fees will be billed from your clearing firm.

Highly doubtful that Interactive Brokers would ever use our order routing as they have their own connectivity to the exchanges.
