Could you explain the difference between TICK-SP AND NTCK-SP? I see the latter is Net ticks but I do not know what that means.

THANKS

Hi, I am also a little confused after reading the documentation.

UTCK  The number of trades of the stocks that have traded higher compared to their previous trading day.

I'm thrown off by the "number of trades" line.

Does this imply that UTCK-SP is measuring the count of SP500 stocks that are trading above their prior high?

The documentation was not well worded. It has been corrected. It should be:
"The number of trades of the stocks that are up in price compared to their previous trading day close."

Number of trades is not the number of stocks in the index or on the exchange, it is the number of trades.
