I am using OEC trader and every time I make a trade I get two windows in sierra chart that pop up. How do I disable them? One of them is the Trade service log window. Thank you!

Refer to the following setting and the one after it:
Global Trade Settings Windows: Open Trade Orders Window When Order is Completed (Global Settings >> General Trade Settings >> Notifications)
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

In the "General Trade Settings", I have the "Open the Trade Service Log When a New Message is Added" set to No. But, this has no effect. When I set it to Yes, there is no effect likewise. The service log will appear when there is a asterisk at the end and will not appear otherwise even if a new new message is added. Setting this to Yes or No does not change the outcome. I am trading in simulation mode.

The Trade Service Log opening when there is an asterisk at the end is occurring because the asterisk denotes that there is an important message which is typically a problem with whatever you are trying to do with the trade. The only way to get the window to not show when there is the asterisk is the following setting:
General Settings Window: Never Automatically Open Message Log or Trade Service Log (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Log >> Log)

If the only reason the logs are opening is because there is an asterisk, then the above will stop that. But you need to look at why you are getting whatever the messages are. Again, the asterisk indicates there is an issue of some kind.
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:
