Hello Support,

I know this might be known, but I am lost in all the documentation.

Currently I am using a SC trial license, which means all features should be available. I have opened a live futures account with WH Self-Invest and requested activation for use with SC "this means i want to trade with WH Self-Invest later on". I had to order Datafeed for CME Infrastrukture+CME Market and EUREX. I was also provided with a CQG login and hat to sign the usage agreement.

I went to settings under Global Setting > Data/Trade Service Settings and configured my CQG login with CQG WebApi. I had to translate all the symbols and reload the charts. NOW I get live data tick by tick, but I can't load historical data.

The Option Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds is enabled.

What am I missing? Is this also possible in principle?

Best Regards,

There is definitely a lack of historical data available from CQG. The only solution is to use our Denali Exchange Data Feed for your data. Refer to the following:
Denali Exchange Data Feed
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

And is the Denali Exchange Data Feed for historical data only also available with the current SierraChart trial license or not? If yes, why don't I get one? Because the symobles are different between SC datafeed and CQG?

I still don't understand what I need to configure to make both work on one SC instance.

If this is not included in the trial licens in my case or if we could get it working now then after my trial is expired, I should active the service package 11 in case I need TPO and Footprint Studies and then active the Denali Exchange Data Feed Service only and I donĀ“t need to pay for Denali Exchange Data Feed CME etc. as I get them from CQG through my broker. Is that correct.

THANKS A LOT FOR YOUR HELP AND UNDERSTANDING

Best Regards,

PS. My Chart looks actually like this: http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1630955648242.png

The Denali Exchange Data Feed is not available while you are on a trial. The idea is that you would use the Delayed Exchange Data Feed while you are on a trial, and up until you are comfortable with Sierra Chart, then you could change to the Real-Time data.

Therefore, if you want to get the Real-Time data from the Denali Exchange Data Feed, you will end up changing to Package 11. To do this, just follow these instructions for the CME Group data:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges*

And then follow these instructions for the EUREX data:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/DenaliExchangeDataFeed.php#SetupInstructions_EUREX

Once you complete these, you will get the data from us and be able to send orders to CQG. Sierra Chart is setup to handle this.

You need to obtain market data through Sierra Chart only. Not through your broker when using CQG. Data from Sierra Chart, is provided through the Denali Exchange Data Feed.

Tell your broker that you want to cancel these exchange fees through them:

I had to order Datafeed for CME Infrastrukture+CME Market and EUREX.

Thanks a lot for your feedback and tinme looking at this an replying to my issue.

According to WHS. They says I need live data through them, otherwise they would not be able to do brokerage for me either.

The question is whether it is technically possible to trade on my WHS account via Sierrachart "orders routing" while receiving live data from WHS CQG and at the same time receiving historical data via the Sierra Chart Historical Data Service available in the Standard and Advanced Service Package. All of that in One instance of Sierrachart.

Thanks in advance.

You can not receive the real-time data from WHS and the historical data from us. You are either getting the data from WHS/CQG or you are getting it from us.
