I have a shortcut button made in the toolbar for horizontal line drawing. I would like to use different color for the various chart / time frame that I have. What is the best way to do this ? Also what is TC 1 TC 2 etc ... I've configured theme to show in different color. When hitting load or apply in the button configuration, nothing seems to affect the main setup of the button ... it keeps using TC 1 as the default setting. Thank you for the assistance. Refer to the following for how to create Control Bar buttons to select a Drawing Tool and Tool Configuration in order to have different properties for the drawings: Chart Drawing Tools: Creating Control Bar Buttons which Select Drawing Tool and Drawing Tool Configuration in One Step TC1, TC2, etc. stand for Tool Configuration 1, etc. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I think I didn't explain my question very well. My appologies. I understand how to add a drawing button in the tool bar. When I right click on the button and click configure button, I choose TC 2 and hit save and apply. On the chart when I activate the button, TC 2 is not working. It remains on TC1. |

Just to make sure we are understanding. You create a Control Bar Button for a Custom Tool Drawing, in which you select TC2 as the configuration for that button. Then, when you select that button and draw the drawing, it is NOT using TC2, rather it is using TC1? Or are you referring to the coloring of the Control Bar buttons themselves? Correct. The only way I can switch from TC1 to TC2 for that button (Horizontal line drawing) is to go to the Tool > Current Tool Config ... and select what I want ... i.e. between TC1 = Color horizontal line for 1hr Time Frame and Tc2 for the 1Min Time Frame. |

You need to create two different control bar buttons. One that has TC1 as the configuration and one that has TC2 as the configuration. You can not have a single button that does both.
