When using "file close chartbook", nothing happens and screen freezes.
When resorting to "control alt delete", pop up shows the following list:

A: NQU1 1 min#1 L: / / E Mini Nasdaq 100 - CME (Sept 21)
"THIS IS PREVENTING YU FROM SIGNING OUT"

B: Sierra Chart 2296 chartbook 3 Trans WS 2021-08-18 SIM DF 10208 ST: 1 6669
C: NQU1 MIN #2 / E Mini Nasdaq 100 - CME (Sept 21)
D: NQU1 MIN #1 / L: / E Mini Nasdaq 100 - CME (Sept 21)
E: NQU1 MIN #3 (SIM) / E Mini Nasdaq 100 - CME (Sept 21)
F: NQU1 MIN #1 / L: / E Mini Nasdaq 100 - CME (Sept 21)

Did you get the pop-up to Save the Chartbook or not? If so, what did you select?

Was this just a one-time thing? Are you able to open that Chartbook and close it again and do you continue to have the same problem?

How long are you waiting to see if the program will respond again before you close it out?

Did not get a pop up to save.
Not a one time thing. I can only close it with control/alt/delete. When reopened, same problem.
I have waited minutes, hours and a day!

This message is not from Sierra Chart.

What you are describing, does not sound like a Sierra Chart issue. There should be absolutely no trouble closing a Chartbook.

This is not reproducible by us.

How are you starting Sierra Chart? Make sure you start it independent of the Transact software using the shortcut on your desktop. We see you are using Transact.

There are two shortcuts on my screen;
Sierra Chart_64 and Sierra Chart (C-SierraC...). Sierra Chart_64 has ID and PW filled in and opens chart. But It will not close unless Ctr/Alt/Delete is used. Sierra Chart_64 will not accept the same ID/PW! I have now been out of business for two days. I really need some help.
