Hi Sierra Chart,

Just updated my Sierra Chart to the latest version and I got an initialization error popup when I try to open the program:

INITIALIZATION ERROR: Error creating the service manager object

Please help.

That is very unusual.

We want you to reset Sierra Chart to a default state following the instructions here:
Resetting Sierra Chart to a Default State / Restoring Backup Global Configuration File: Resetting Sierra Chart to a Default State

Only rename the Sierra4.config file and no others. Let us know if that resolves the issue.

It worked initially and I had to reset my global settings.

Things seem to work fine but after I reset everything, I tried to close and reopen Sierra Chart. Then, the same initialization error appears.

Please help.

I have uploaded the Sierra4.config file as requested. Appreciate the help and hopefully I can get back on with my trading soon.

Hi,

Just to add on: I have also found Sierra4.config.backup in my Sierra Chart folder too, alongside the Sierra4.config file. Not sure if this would help in resolving this issue, but just to let you know.
