Can't connect to Gain Capital to verify my trading account.

Hi,

I upgraded my software to the latest SC version 2276 and have now not been unable to connect to the Gain
data feed. So I signed up to the Denali data feed. Now at the start of the month my
data is delayed and I can't connect to the Gain data feed to verify my account with them. What do I
do?

There is no information in the log as to why the connection is not working. You will need to ask Gain Capital about this.

Hi,

thanks. The connection did just work fine with my original(very old 32bit) SC version. It was after the upgrade that it stopped working. I would just roll back to that older version, but I don't have access to that info as I am traveling in Europe, using my laptop. All my original data is on my desktop system in the States. I added the Denali datafeed 2-days ago as a possible work around, as I'm on the road and I don't have time to troubleshoot this problem. Could you possibly extend my real time data feed access through July, as I only had 2 days of real time data feed, so when I get back to the States I can figure out what is going on (or just go back to the previously working version).

Definitely the issue is not due to the version you are running. Make sure the username and password for Gain Capital is properly entered in:
Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings

And that the proper Server is set. The log above shows you are connecting to the simulation server and not the production server.

Hi,

thanks for your suggestions. Already tried all of these, including switching to their production servers.
No luck! Well, it is really my fault - I should have tested this before I left. What if I canceled my new
Denali subscription and then signed up again. This should give me to the end of July. Would that work?
It's brute force - but at least it would get me up and running again.

found the problem. It's not my password, but my username that is off by a Capital letter.
