Hello,

I am a AMP User with Packages 5 and the CQG CME Data feed enabled.

By this configuration I do not have history Tick by Tick data.

If I switch my SC Packages from 5 to 11, do I get then the history Tick by Tick data from Denali Data feed?

Do I have to disable the AMP CQG configuration to Order Routing Only and active the CME Data Feed on SC or can I use my active configuration?

The Server Side Brackets Orders I can not get in any configuration with AMP, right?

Thanks
regards
Carsten

In order to get the Denali Exchange Data Feed, you need to go through the instructions here:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges*

There is a little more to it than just switching the package, including filling out agreements and activating the exchanges. If you go through the instructions you will be fine. And yes, you will also have access to Tick-by-Tick data.

You should change your configuration with AMP to not include the CQG data once you are setup to get it from us, as there is no need to pay for it twice.

With regards to the Server Side bracket orders, that does not change, as you are still using CQG for the order routing, and that is something we do not support with CQG.

Hi John,

thanks,

But is it necessary in case of the denali feed to get the Exchange from SC or would it be possible to get the Real Time Exchange Data from GCQ?

regards
thanks

You can get the CME Group data through CQG rather than through the Denali Exchange Data Feed, if you prefer. But, you will find the Denali Exchange Data Feed to be superior, particularly in terms of historical data. In addition, since the Denali Exchange Data Feed is our data feed, it is guaranteed to work with Sierra Chart and we can respond to any issues immediately.

In the end, though, it is your choice. You can get the data from either one or the other.

Given the way you worded your question, we just want to point out that it is definitely one or the other. You do not need to have Package 11 with Sierra Chart in order to get the CQG data. You only need to change your package if you are going to use the Denali Exchange Data Feed.
