I have chart trading enabled on a chart for EUR/USD futures (6EM21_FUT_CME) with the Trade and Current Quote Symbol set to the micro (M6EM21_FUT_CME) and the Use As Trade Only Symbol box is checked. When I attempt to place a sell limit at 1.2179, my order gets rejected. The message in my Trade Service Log reads:

EDIT: Removed message text

I noticed in the rejection mesage that the Ask is listed as 12179.00 which has the totally different decimal place than the Ask cited by the exchange (1.2567) as the reference for the high limit. My order at 1.2179 is not above the excahgne High Limit of 1.2567, so the decimal mismatch seems to be the culprit to my inexperienced eye, but I'll leave this to the experts.

I don't have this issue when I place an order directly on a micro 6E chart. Only when I have the micro 6E set up as Trade and Current Quote Symbol on a normal 6E chart. I can use the DOM to enter orders for the time being, but I rely heavily on the Trade and Current Quote Symbol functionality across other symbols, so having this one malfunctioning is pretty problematic for my workflow.

I appreicate whatever you can do to get this sorted out. Thanks for the help. I await your guidence.

Just to make sure, what is your Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings 2 >> Real-Time Price Multiplier set to in the chart where you are having this issue?

It is set to .0001

I don't believe I've ever changed that setting - at least not intentionally :)

Refer to this section:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartOrderRoutingServiceWithData.php#UsingTradeSymbol (Using Trade Symbol)

In the case of using the M6E futures contracts symbol, on a 6E futures chart, it is necessary to use the following settings in Chart >> Chart Settings:

Price Display Format: .00001
Tick Size: .0001
Trade and Current Quote Symbol Price Multiplier: 1 (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings 3)
