Reducing Charts/ChartBook by either additional ChartBooks or Instances

Dear Support

I wonder if you can answer the following question when time allows.

Currently I use 3 Chartbooks, each of which has 80 charts (240 in all).
Those chartbooks break up into 16 groups of 5 charts; and within those groups I reference data from other charts.

Recalculation due to referencing of other charts and thus load/update activity can slow or even temporarily freeze my reasonably high specification PC.

Would it help to:

1) Reduce the charts to 40/Chartbook across 8 Chartbooks instead of the current 4 chartbooks. (same overall number)
2) Run separate instances (same data provider) of Sierra such that I have 1 Chartbook containing the current 80 Charts in each instance.
3) ... or another potential solution.

I'm not actually sure how the computers resources are allocated and whether there is too much workload being placed on the current instance.

Intel i7 9700K @ 3.6GHz. 32GB Ram and M.2 SSD. So not under-powered. CPU @ 6% and Physical Mem 28% running above.

Many thanks

It's not possible for us to say exactly what the optimal configuration would be, as it depends a lot on the relationships between the charts.

But, you would definitely want to use multiple instances to help distribute the load. Refer to the following:
High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often: 30.47 - Use Sub Instances to Distribute Processing Load

And not other items within that same page that may be of help.
