DOM is updating, but the charts are not

Price moves up and down the DOM with each tick, but the charts stopped updating at 15:57 EST. Tried shutting down and bringing SC up again. Also opening a new chart and calling up NQ instead of ES, FWIW. Don't think I did anything to mess it up, as I was occupied with my browser. What's wrong, and what do I do about it? Thanks.

It looks like you are using the Delayed Data Feed. If this is the case, then what most likely happened is that the system recognized a break in the data and redownloaded the historical data. Sometimes, when it does that, it downloads the data up to the current time, rather than just up to the current time less the delay amount. Therefore, you are seeing the data, but the system is still processing the delayed data. So your DOM is showing you the delayed prices, but since the bars are already present, they are not updating.

You can tell when this is the case by checking the times of the bars against the clock. If the bars are less than 10 or 15 minutes behind (depending on the exchange).

All you need to do is wait for the delay time to pass by, and everything will be back to normal.

Delayed data, yes. A much finer-grained chart shows it cutting off after 15:59:58. Still nothing after that in the day session, but the evening session is appearing normally. Close enough, I guess. Thanks.
