Make sure that the filters at the top are as wide open as they can be. For instance, the Activity Filter is currently set to just Fills. Change that to All Activity. And then make sure the rest are as open as can be, and be sure to select the Apply button to update. Then see if that Simulation account shows up.

I was looking for trades/statistics
but I changed to all activity and still, I don't see it (sim63) on the drop down menu

And also all the other filters are wide open? For instance, you do not have any filtering on Notes, and the date range is within the area for which you had those trades?

Also, do you still have Sim63 available as an active account? In other words, do you have the setting for Trade >> General Trade Settings >> Number of Simulation Accounts still set to at least 63?

I don't have any filters and even if I would have, I would expect to be able to choose the sim account and after hitting apply, to get nothing
and yes I do have more than 63 sim accounts (I set it to 400 and you can see from the screenshot I do see sim75)
so the answer is yes for both questions

i think i know how to reproduce this:
1.I run few simulation (all charts on chartbook)
2. i went over the activity log and saw all the simulations as expected
3. saved the chartbook by another name
4. removed some charts and for the rest of the charts I changed the sim account to another #
5. replay all
the output is "downloading continues contract) -->> there is nothing to d.l. has no changes was done for the date so I already have all the data downloaded....
nothing happens + and now the activity log lost the sims account I run in step 1
i need to close the chartbook as nothing happens and reopen it. now replay is running as expected

lucky me, I manually saved the results in txt files...(when will you have 1 click to export it all?)

We will take a look at this and see if we can figure out what is happening.

In terms of exporting the Trade Activity Log, refer to the following (it's not 1 click, but it's not that hard):

when you need to do this for 3 different tabs * many simulations - it's annoying....

We have tried to reproduce what you are seeing, but we are unable to have the same scenario come up. When we try this with 10 different simulation accounts and try saving to a different chartbook and deleting charts, etc., we still have all the trades showing in the Trade Activity Log.

Therefore, we simply do not know what has happened in your case. If you can track it down any further to specific situations, then we can use that information to look further, but until we can reproduce this, we can not fix it.

For performance reasons, not all accounts are going to be listed if there are a lot of Trade Accounts, or if the history for an account is not recent. You just need to manually type the Trade Account into the box at the top of the trade account list.

ok I will try
though I don't know why there are performance issues to pull out the sim accounts list (b/c when I pull an account then all it's trade data etc. goes fast which is more data)
anyway there is still a problem when trying a replay after changing the sim accounts for all charts which causing the chart do download the data but it fails and get stack on downloading continuous data
I need to close the chartbook and reopen it to start a replay again

This does not make sense:

after changing the sim accounts for all charts which causing the chart do download the data but it fails and get stack on downloading continuous data
Changing the Trade Account for a chart is not going to cause a download of chart data.

1. changing the sim account
2. than cntrl+home to go to the start of the chart
3. replay and it's sub-windows
4. downloading and get stacked

We have not been able to reproduce what you are seeing, and we do not know any reason why it would occur, therefore we are not able to find a "fix" for it.

If there is some problem, with the loading of chart data in a chart, then delete all of the data files loaded in the chart following these instructions:
Chart Data and Chart Data Files: Deleting a Chart Data File

Make sure the symbol settings are correct in the chart:
Global Symbol Settings: Update/Apply Symbol Settings to Charts

I am doing education and using you excellent software to do replays and trade those. After having done one trading session I close it down for the day and then it is gone forever it seems, I can't find anything in the activity log even though I have "open filters".

I have worked around this for myself by doing screenshots of the day BUT now my tutor wants' me to import data into TraderVue.

So now I would like to be able to import those old trades or at least future ones.

In other words can I find and export earlier trades done in the replay SIM-mode?

If not can I save and export trades done in the replay SIM-mode from now on with correct settings?

If not can I save and export trades done in SIM-trading mode if I follow the daily trading sessions, meaning not trading replays but this actual day, tomorrow the 13th of october for example?

There should not be any problem like this.

Go to the installation folder for Sierra Chart and check the TradeActivityLogs folder and see if you see the files for the trading activity that you are not seeing in the log.
