Upgrading SC from 32 bit to 64 bit.

Hi Team, As you can see from my account details I am using SC via Intuitive Sigma Charts. I am using the 32 bit version as downloaded from Intuitive, which includes a couple of Intuitive Sigma custom studies. I would like to upgrade to 64-bit to be able to use 64-bit studies and have two initial questions: a. how do I perform the upgrade and b. will the presumably 32-bit custom studies of Intutive Sigma Charts work with the 64-bit version? I have a further question re the Intuitive custom studies: c. when I export, from the Edit menu, bar and study data to a text file, the data for the aforementioned Intuitive Sigma Charts custom studies is not generated and instead I only get zero values. Is there a way I can get the custom study data? Thanks in advance. Harris Leontiou

a. There is nothing to upgrade with regards to Sierra Chart. Assuming you have a 64-bit computer and Operating System, then you have both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Sierra Chart already on your system. You would just need to run the 64-bit version by finding it in your main Sierra Chart folder. It will have the name SierraChart_64. You can then copy and paste a shortcut to it on your desktop. b. 32-bit studies will NOT work with 64-bit Sierra Chart. You need to ensure that you have the 64-bit studies from Intuitive Sigma. Also make sure that the studies have been setup to work with the current releases of Sierra Chart. We do not know how far back you are on releases, but there were some changes about a year ago for which 3rd party studies needed to be updated. c. This is something you would need to ask Intuitive Sigma about. ----------------- We also recommend updating your Sierra Chart software to the current version, just to make sure you are up-to-date. As long as you have checked with Intuitive Sigma that you can use their software with the current release, then you can update by starting the 64-bit version of Sierra Chart as we described above, and then selecting Help >> Download Current Release. Then go through the installation process on the window that comes up for installation. Team, Many thanks you for your advice, I am now using the latest 64bit version of SC and all is working fine. I will check with Intuitive Sigma about the custom study values output. Best, Harris
