Pausing usage time through April

Hi SC Support, is it possible to pause usage time for the month of April (I have 1 month of services remaining) and resume in May 2021? I read the documentation on suspending usage but wasn't sure about whether it's possible to postpone a month of service. Thank you!

We can do this for you, but since you had paid up-front for 3 months, we would have to adjust your services based on the per-month rate (as if you had paid for 2 one month packages) and then refund you the remainder of what you had paid.

Hi John, yes that is reasonable. As usual, I appreciate your kind and prompt assistance. Will the refund go back to the card that I paid with or credited to my account on Sierra Chart? I'd prefer that it goes back to the card if possible. Thanks again!

We have processed the refund and put the funds back in your Sierra Chart account. We have also set your account to NOT renew, so your current Usage Time will now end on April 4, 2021.

If you do not want to be charged the $3.25 for the Full CME Group exchange on April 1, 2021 (that is, you will not be needing the data at all in April), then we recommend that you deactivate the exchange on this page (you will still get data through the rest of today (March 31), this just sets the exchange to not renew):

If you then want the funds refunded to your card, you would need to make that request in the Account Support Tickets. Just be aware that we charge a fee for the refund to the card. You can find the information for this here:

Correct, the funds in your account will stay at the same level that it is right now until you come back and start a service again.
