SC : I followed the instructions at this link, General Settings Window: Detect Rollover Of Current Futures Contracts Symbols Based On Real Time Volume (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Charts >> Symbol) ,
and the notification is still on my CL charts that says the symbol needs rollover. I tried to stop and restart SC also. I do not want to rollover. Why is that notification still on my charts?

Make sure you have rolled over to at least the H contract. Sometimes the rollover window shows the same contract as the existing, so you not have updated the symbol the first time.
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

SC John:

I am already on J, the April contract, but, since there is more volume in K, the May contract, SC displays the notification that I need to rollover even though I followed the following rules...

When the symbol is considered expired based upon the volume being higher in the next contract month, then a Rollover message is displayed on the chart for a half a day. It is necessary to rollover to the next contract month to clear this message. This message will redisplay after reconnecting to the data feed.
The check for determining if the symbol is expired based on volume is performed every 10 minutes.
When using the Detect Rollover Of Current Futures Contracts Symbols Based On Real Time Volume option, you are going to want to disable the Automatically Rollover Futures Symbol option in the Chart Settings for the chart.
The Continuous Contract option in Chart >> Chart Settings is fully unrelated to Detect Rollover Of Current Futures Contracts Symbols Based On Real Time Volume, and has no effect upon the current symbol of the chart.

Note that April will not expire until 3 trading days before the 25th of April. However, SC will not let me stay on the April contract due to volume.

How do i fix this?

Thanks.
