CQG only supports a certain number of logins per day. And then they lock the connection for the rest of the day.

I have been receiving this same message and am unable to logon; I have two instances running, but generally have one logged on and one logged off at any given time. Today I had manually disconnected one from the data feed, but for some reason it began trying to log back on to CQG data feed after a couple of hours. I am currently locked out of managing/cancelling my orders...I have changed the Common Settings in the Data/Trade Service Settings window to "NO" for auto connect on startup and reconnect on failure lines hoping this will prevent the problem from recurring. I have NO IDEA why one instance began trying to reconnect after I had manually disconnected it however and it IS frustrating.

We are sorry that the system did something you were not expecting. We do not know the reason why, and it is not something we could figure out unless we had the information from when it occurred. But definitely changing those particular settings is the right thing to do.
