1. Should the service in Sierra Chart be set to CQG WebAPI?

2. And the data will come from Denali if we have at least package 10?

3. The symbols will show CQG symbols like EP instead of ES?

1. Yes.

2. Yes, as long as you have done the full setup for the Denali Exchange Data Feed (you need to be on Package 10, 11, or 12, but you also need to fill out the agreements and activate the exchanges).

3. Yes, the symbols will be CQG symbols.

This is no longer working.

I have set CQG WebAPI, and no longer get live data from Denali.

When switching to SC Data service I get delayed Data and no longer see the CQG symbols.

What should I do?

The exchange that you had activated as part of the Denali Exchange Data Feed did not renew on April 1, 2021 as you did not have any funds in your account to pay for the renewal.

To add funds to your account, select Help >> Add Usage Credit from within the Sierra Chart software. This will take you to the Payments page and automatically log you in using the Sierra Chart Account and Password that you use to login to your Sierra Chart software.

Or you can select the following link and login using your Sierra Chart Account Name and Password:
https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=AddAccountCredit

Once you have added funds, go to the following page and scroll to the bottom and select the button for "Reactivate Exchange" next to the exchange to be reactivated.

Everywhere it was written I had until April 10 to add funds. There is so much confusion about the transition from broker billing. Thanks for the links.

Ok I will add funds shortly. So do I trade with my live account while connected to CQG WebAPI, or can I trade with my live account while connected to SC Data - All Services? Or does it matter?

If you want to trade then you need to be connected to CQG, therefore the Service setting would need to be CQG WebAPI. That is how the software knows where to send the orders.

Thank you. So what is the use case to select SC Data - All Services?

Can I for example log in using CQG WebAPI, download data for F.US.EPM21, and then when I switch to SC Data - All Services, I notice it wants to re-download all the ES data into another file ESM21-CME.scid. But the data is the same as F.US.EPM21.scid and not an efficient way to use my disk space.

Any way to not download the data twice when switching between data services? And using what is already downloaded?

Thanks.

If someone isn't using the software to make trades, but is using it for their analysis.

The easiest way is to simply not change services. Or, if you just need to change temporarily, then do not update the symbol settings to the new service. Just leave them as they are and when you change back, the charts will start flowing again.
