I have EURUSD and SPX500 charts open in the same chartbook.

When I change the timeframes on SPX500 from 5min to 15min to 30min to 4hour etc... the chart changes instantly.
However,
When I try exactly the same thing with EURUSD it has to load data. Every time.

I dont know what setting Ive enabled/disabled to cause the delay. How do I get the chart to change instantly?

Whenever you change the chart timeframe it needs to reload the data from the file and reconfigure the information for the new timeframe. Therefore, there should be a small time delay as it loads the data. You will see a message stating "Loading" with the symbol when it is doing this.

If you are not seeing the message that says "Loading", then you must have a very small amount of data loaded for that chart such that it is able to process it quick enough that you do not see the message.

I have duplicated the chart so everything is exactly the same.
The only thing I change is the instrument. Days, sessions times, everything remains the same.

With the indexes - loads instantly. Zero delay.
Forex - Delayed. Has to load new data every time.

Its odd that index data performs differently to forex data.
