Hello, I have checked out previous issues on this pages with regards of IB trading service and the problems that come with it. The posts were from past years, so because it is very important to me, I would like to ask again: 1. Futures trading : Can I use the data feed offered by Sierra Chart and IB for execution? 2. Stocks, forex, cfd: Can I use data feed and order execution from IB while using Sierra Chart as charting, order management etc? PS. I did see your recommendation not to use IB for futures, but they do offer something that many don't (single account can trade all-no need to transfer money from one account to the other to trade products)... and this is one of the things... But I do agree futures trading on IB...it is garbage, data feed, TWS just not made for futures trading. Thanx and sorry I had to re-open the subject. |

Thank you for your answer! I understand that your Forex / CFD data feed is much better than IB offers. I can use that, I'll find the instructions. I would like to use Sierra Chart with IB without issues and if your recommendation is to use you data feed for stocks I'd like to do that too so I don't run in any problems. I looked up Denali data service, which includes futures data CME/Globex. What can I use to replace IB data. What I want is the US market (NYSE, NASDAQ, ARCA, BAT ETC)in other words the main markets. Refer to the following for the Forex/CFD data: Sierra Chart Real Time and Historical Forex and CFD Data Service In order to get the U.S. Stocks data from us, you would use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed and enable the U.S. Equities exchange. You will find the information (including Setup Instructions) here: Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed Just note that we do not have Level 2 Market Depth data. If that is necessary for your trading, then you would need to get the data through IB instead.
