AMP (my broker) sent out an email stating,
It has been decided that Sierra TT FIX will no longer be supported on any exchanges.


They have stated AMP clients can opt for Sierra Chart - Denali - CQG (No Data - Order Routing Only) - you will keep Denali as is for real-time and historical market data and CQG will be used for order routing only - No Exchange Data will be enabled on your CQG trader ID/Username.

Sierra Charts and multiple users had issues with CQG data and hence moved to Sierra Chart - Denali - TTFix, also Sierra Chart sunset support for users on CQG data.

Now with CQG Order Routing Only:
1) does this proposed solution Sierra Chart - Denali - CQG, give same level of Order Routing functionality as Sierra Chart - TTFix, does anything change for the users?
2) will this be proposed solution be a longer term engagement with CQG?
3) will Sierra Chart provide support if any issue arises with CQG order routing?

They are saying CME order routing has been reenabled for TT platform users. why would they not also reenable it for SC/Denali/TT users? The limitation of liability is insane though. If for some reason phantom positions show up in your account, bad luck for you...

Do you have a copy of that AMP email? I didnt get it

Please find attached, copy of the last email sent out by AMP on this issues.

From the link you sent me it my understanding is that they have reenabled order routing for TT-platform users only and for others they are suggesting to trade live to change from:

Sierra Chart (platform) - Denali (data) - TTFix (order routing) to Sierra Chart (platform) - Denali (data) - CQG (order routing) ,

please feel free to correct me if otherwise.

For now live trading only possible if move order routing to CQG

Odd that I'm having to come here looking for updates on issues with AMP...

Do you have a copy of that AMP email? I didnt get it

I didn't get that email either, or any email or any update since 02/19/21... Can you post that email here so we can read?

Currently I still have, Sierra Chart (platform) - Denali (data) - TTFix (order routing) and have not made the switch to
Sierra Chart (platform) - Denali (data) - CQG (order routing)

Have not traded live due to ongoing TT issue and now with the last email from AMP not sure what the resolution or next steps other than switching to CQG for order routing. Not clear if making a switch to CQG order routing is required and how this impacts me and if Sierra Chart will support technical issues that might arise due to this move as I am aware due to CQG data issues CQG support was sunset by Sierra Chart

Your previous post and this just shows <Private File> so nobody can read it... By default all files uploaded are Private. When you select the file to upload there is a 'Make Public' link/button you can click so we can read it. Thanks!

I was in the same boat. Just got on AMP Chat Technical Support and he immediately sent me the email... WTH I've been waiting on that since Wed and I've hit their chat up & phone calls countless times argh I'm now up live.

About the attachments, got it = uploaded the attachment again so visible to all

So if AMP or no exchange is supporting the TTFix so will I have to select, Sierra Chart (platform) - Denali (data) - CQG (order routing)?

If I change my data and order routing to CQG, does that mean Sierra Chart will not support any technical issues? But if I keep data as Denali and only do order routing through CQG this is supported by Sierra Chart?

Just trying to figure out impact of the options of keeping Sierra Chart as trading platform:

option 1 - Denali (data) and CQG (order routing)
option 2 - CQG (data + order routing)


Clarification on this will be helpful

I can confirm, AMP technical chat (Jeff) immediately sent me new CQG credentials. If you need a second set of credentials for backup PC (10 USD) you need to submit this form during U.S business hours: https://clients.ampfutures.com/live-trading-setup-request

With "CQG-orderrouting only", the webplatform will not work though

So the best case solution would be Sierra Chart platform + CQG data and order routing?

You can still use the Denali Exchange Data Feed when using CQG so any issues/limitations with CQG regarding market data will not be relevant.

There are some limitations.

It is intended to only be temporary. From our perspective that is definite.

For order routing you need to contact your broker. Not Sierra Chart.

This is a good question that they should answer. Although with the second incident, we do need to all put TT behind us as quickly as possible.

One thing we heard, was that through one of the TT APIs, when AMP is running queries, they were running into problems with that TT API related to the TT users with accounts on the Sierra Chart order routing service.

We also know that about nearly half the losses were associated with Xtrader users.

We certainly are not going to provide support for CQG market data and this policy is no different than it is for Interactive Brokers users. In general we are not providing support for external market data unless there is some technical problem we need to resolve. And if you have any trading related issues please contact your broker. We will provide support for the Denali Exchange Data Feed and you can use that with CQG and that is what is is definitively recommended.

Got it,

Made the changes to setup and currently have following:

Platform: Sierra Chart
Data: Denali
Order Routing: CQG (moved this from TTFix)

Now I updated all my symbols as well but lost my chart drawings as symbol changed,

how do I get my chart drawings back on the chart from the old symbol?

How did you do this?

You need to use Translate Symbols to Current Service documented here:
Edit Menu: Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service

Use that command to also translate the Chart Drawings.
