Hi,
I have the Standard Sierra Chart (Service Package 3) and have some questions around my data feed.
I'm wanting to trade intraday but have noticed that when I go to the smaller time frames (5m or 1m for $TSLA)
the price action freezes or it's not moving. Do the service package 3 have realtime data or is it delayed (if so
by how many minutes) or is it EOD data?

Thank you.

Refer to the following for what Real-Time data is included with a Sierra Chart package (stocks are not):
Real-Time Data

Refer to the information on the Historical Data Service for how non-Real Time data is transmitted:
Sierra Chart Historical Data Service

If you want Real-Time data for U.S. Equities, then you can use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed. You will find all the information for this data feed here:

Thank you John for your response. Sounds like I need to get a real time data feed.
I clicked on the real time data link for US equities you sent through.
For clarity, for options trading and the markets for these (S&P500, NASDAQ, DJIA) would the data feed I need
be the U.S. Equities (NYSE, NASDAQ, AMEX) for $10.50 USD per month?
Would I need anything else?
Thanks for your support again...

Yes, the data feed you would need would be the U.S. Equities that is part of the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed.

Just be aware that Options are not available with that data feed. If you need Options, then you may want to check with IQFeed or Interactive Brokers.

Hi quick question: I have signed up for the following:

-Service Package 3
-Denali Exchange Data Feed

Pre market has just opened and nothing's happening at my end re price action. I'm watching $TSLA and notice the price action moving on another feed I have but not on my Sierra Chart. Does the subscription to the Denali data feed include pre market price action?

You do not have the Denali Exchange Data Feed on the account from which you posted to this support board.

In addition, if you are looking for the U.S. Stock data (TSLA), then that real-time data is available through the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed.

Refer to the following for information on the two data feeds available from Sierra Chart:

Hi John,
Thank you for your quick response. Sorry I think I'm a little confused.
-On the 23 Jan, I paid $71USD for three months of service package 3;

I wanted to get realtime data and using the link above you had posted, I purchased access to US equities for $40USD;

Mate, the penny has just dropped for me. I made a transfer of $40USD to my account with the intention of getting realtime data. I just haven't activated it yet.
If I wanted access to US equities (S&P500, NASDAQ, Dow Jones) would I go to this link:
https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ExchangeDataFeedFeatures#DataConnections
And activate the U.S. Equities (NYSE, NASDAQ, AMEX) for $10.50USD per month?

Thank you

That is the correct page where most of the options are selected for the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed, but you need to follow the Setup Instructions in order to make sure you get everything done in the proper order. You will find the instructions here:
Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed: Setup Instructions

Additionally, the total cost to get the U.S. Equities is $36.50. There is the $25.00 Data Feed Fee and then the $10.50 Exchange Fee.
