Solution For Low Exchange Rate without a funded trading account

Hey, It's regarding Easy solution to CME Funded Trading Account Requirement. The first instruction reads "1. Open an account with the clearing firm AMP by using this link." I created an AMP account a while ago. Would that account accomplish the purpose of low exchange rates or do I have to use that specific link listed in Instructions to create a new account. Also, the email address on my already existing AMP account is different from the one for Sierra Charts account. Would my already existing AMP futures account with a different email address than Sierra Chart be sufficient to get lower exchange rates? Thanks in advance! |

If you have a funded, live trading account with AMP that is setup to use either CQG or the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service, then that is sufficient to qualify for the lower priced Non-Professional exchange fees from the CME Group. The reason you need to be setup with CQG or the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service is that we use electronic means to validate your trading account, and those are the only services that we work with at AMP to perform this verification. The email address is not important. What matters is that you select which Sierra Chart Account you want to use going forward, and then make sure that you are logging into your Sierra Chart account with that Account Name. And that you are then connecting at least once a month to your funded, live trading account from within Sierra Chart. Hey, from the last time I checked, it seems like there has been some changes made to the instructions in "Easy Solution to CME Funded Trading Account." I am asking this now is because there were some complications in getting my amp account funded. So do I need two accounts now? I don't understand the part about CGQ |

Also, how is AMP offering Sierra Chart Package for only $25 while Sierra Chart itself offers it for $36?

Due to changes that AMP has made, there have been changes to the "Easy Solution to CME Funded Trading Account". You would need to go through the instructions as they are now if you were to do this at this time. AMP charges a different amount for Sierra Chart as they are a reseller. As such, they can set the price as they wish. But, their version of the software has some differences, most notably the ability to connect to any service other than the ones that AMP supports. So do I now have to fund CGQ too because in the Note section it says that I don't? Also when I am asked to include the broker name in Sierra Chart, do I list CGQ or AMP? |

Also, with the new instructions do I now have to be with CQG data feed or would I be connecting with denali data feed? I saw one of the posts byb sierra charts where you guys discourage the use of CQG data feed.

You would put AMP as your broker in the Agreements for the Denali Exchange Data Feed. You do not need the CQG data, as you are using the Denali Exchange Data Feed. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
