I need around 5 years of minute by minute data of small caps/ low float ( float around 1-50 million) and the 1 min candles includes open, close, high, low and vol and of course pre market and after hours.
do you offer something like this?
also, do you have integration with python ? are you providing the info thru cvs files?
and of course how much will be the price for what I need?
I am going to use it for research so live data is not so important.

1. With regards to our historical data for U.S. Equities, our data is the following:
At least 180 days of historical tick by tick data is provided for US stocks. Usually there is 1 year of tick by tick data available. Prior to this the US stock data is in 1 minute units and begins in 2008.

To use the Historical Data Feed, refer to the following instructions:
Sierra Chart Historical Data Service: Setup Instructions

2. No, we do not integrate with python. Our integration is done through C++ using our ACSIL integration. Refer to the following:
Advanced Custom Study Interface and Language (ACSIL)

3. We are not sure what info you are referring to in this case. The intraday data is stored in a binary format, but you can export it to a CSV file. Refer to the following:
Exporting and Importing Intraday Data Files: Export and Edit

4. There is no additional charge for the historical data. You would just need to pay for your Sierra Chart package when the time comes. Either package will work for the things discussed. Refer to the information here on the differences between the Sierra Chart packages:

Thank for your reply.

Follow up questions:
1. When exporting the data is there some kind of limit ? Can I export it by float (for a big amount of tickers)or dates (for specific range of dates for ticker) ?
2. Do your data base is completed with low float stocks ? I found many other data bases to be lacking info on these
3. You said at least 180 days which is 6 months. So you don’t offer 1min candles info backing 5 years ?

1. No, there is no limit to the data you can export. You can export the entire file of data that you have on your computer:
Edit Menu: Edit >> Export Intraday Data to Text file

Or you can export just the data that you have in the chart:
Edit Menu: Edit >> Export Bar Data to Text File

2. You will just have to take a look and see if the stocks you are looking for are available. We do not have a list of exactly what is/isn't available.

3. Read the statement closely. It states tick-by-tick for 180 days (probably 1 year) and then 1 minute back to 2008.

This data is definitely available:
So you don’t offer 1min candles info backing 5 years ?

One more thought I have. Since you said “I’ll just have to see”
What if you don’t have this data for low float stocks ? Is there a refund? Cause all I need is low float really

You are currently on trial and can check the stocks right away. Therefore, there would be nothing to refund.

We did try a few low float stocks and they were available. But again, you will need to just see if the ones you want are there.

I didn’t know I’m on a trial. Just by signing in to submit a question. Will look into it later on today. Thanks again
