One window shows rectangles in the fill color different than the other two windows. They are plotted with a text file in the right position and all else is the same in all three windows. But one window has less density for the fill color and, especially the green window, the rectangles are too hard to see.

The attached screen shot shows two windows with the different density rectangles. How can I get them the same darker fill color?

Assuming that these windows are on the same monitor, then the first thing to do is to open the Drawing Properties for a rectangle in each window and compare the settings. It looks like the transparency is set differently between them.

If they are different, which they must be, then the only reason they would be drawn differently is if there are different configurations setup and are being used in each of the windows. You will want to take a look at your configurations and the Current Configuration for each chart, as these can be different. Refer to the information here:

For some reason I cannot get to the Chart Drawing Properties menu because this menu: Global Settings >> Customize Chart Drawing Shortcut Menu is not available in my Global Settings menu. In the Drawings Shortcut Menu there is no way to customize it there. How do I get this settings menu?

First, you can always get to the Drawing Tool Properties by selecting the pulldown Tools >> Manage Chart Drawings Window and then select the drawing you want and select the Properties button. Refer to the information here:
Chart Drawing Tools: Manage Chart Drawings

Second, are you saying that you cannot access the pulldown menu for Global Settings >> Customize Chart Drawing Menu? If so, why are you not able to access it? Is it not listed, or grayed out, or something else? Or what happens when you do select it?

First, I can get to the Manage Drawing window through the Tools menu. However, in the window I need it opened on, no rectangles are listed in the table! Only lines are listed. Although there are about 41 rectangles in the window. In another window a few of the 41 rectangles are listed.

Second, I can open the Customize Chart Drawing Menu. but not the Customize Chart Drawing Shortcut Menu. This was listed in the help page referred to above. Again, is there a way to customize the drawing shortcut menu so we can hopefully modify the properties only on the drawing right clicked on?

1. If the rectangles are copied from another chart, then that would be the reason why they are not showing in the list. Another possibility is that the Rectangles are from a different symbol, but you have the option to display drawings from other symbols enabled. Refer to the information for this setting here:
Chart Settings: Show Chart Drawings For Different Symbols (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Drawings menu)

If you open the Manage Chart Drawings Window, be sure to select the Rectangle or Extending Rectangle from the Drawing Type pulldown in the upper right. If you do not see all the rectangles you expect, then make sure the Symbols option (in the upper right) is set to All Symbols.

2. The Global Settings >> Customize Chart Drawing Menu is the Global Settings >> Customize Chart Drawing Shortcut Menu. Apparently it got changed at some point but the documentation did not get updated. Our apologies for this. We will get the documentation updated shortly.

Select Global Settings >> Customize Chart Drawing Menu and then add the item from the left of Chart Drawing Properties to the right. Then select OK, and you should be able to right-click on a rectangle and see the option for Chart Drawing Properties.

Global Settings >> Customize Chart Drawing Menu has Chart Drawing Properties at the top of the Selected Menu Items.

But the problem appears to be that I can never select a rectangle drawing. The right click menus is just the one for the blank screen areas, with pointer, Line, Buy Market and other commands. So how can I select the rectangle to modify the fill transparency? They are defined from a text file and a study (EminiPlayer Zones) dll.

Rectangles (and any other drawing) that are being generated by a study have 2 possible modes. One of them is that they are controlled only through the study, the other allows you to modify them as though they are treated as regular User-Drawn drawings.

Since these are coming from a study and you are not able to change them, then that is the choice of the developer of that study. You would need to talk to them about these issues and how you would want to see things changed.
