Auto hide title bar and scrollbar for DOM

I see there was a previous thread about the exact same topic but without any replies, so i will try again. Auto Hide Charts Tible Bar and Scrollbar Is there any way to only enable the hide function on charts and not on the DOM? When trading it is very annoying to have the DOM change size when i click it without selecting it first. |

Your Sierra Chart account which you have logged into this Support Board with is expired. So we know what Sierra Chart account you are using, go to Help >> Support Board from within the Sierra Chart desktop program and then post in this thread telling us this is done.

We are a bit confused by your question, as it is only possible to hide the title bar on a per chart basis (the Trading DOM is a specialized Chart). So if you want the Title Bar to be present for a Trading DOM, but not for a chart, then this is standard functionality and as long as you do not select Chart >> Hide Title Bar on the Trading DOM (or when the Trading DOM is the active chart if the Trading DOM is an Attached Window), then the title bar will stay on the Trading DOM. If you are having an issue with this somehow, or it is not working as we stated, then please give us a screenshot showing what you are dealing with so we understand the issue. I am talking about the auto hide feature under global settings -> general settings -> general 2. I would prefer if there was a way to only apply the auto hide to charts and not the DOM. |

The way around this is to hide the Title Bar and Scrollbar for each chart rather than use the Global setting (which is what we thought you were doing). You can hide these on a per chart basis by selecting them under the Chart menu. I found another and in my opinion better solution since i do want to have the title and scrollbar on my charts when i select them. In the DOM i selected chart and unmarked show title bar. This way the title bar never shows in the DOM and the DOM doesn't change size when i select it but all the charts still have auto hide bars. |
