my Relative Volume sub study is not changing based on the "Period - Days to Include" I would expect the volume to smooth out with a longer day period. I am using a 60 days historic data graph however there is no change in RVOL when I change the setting from 5 to 60. What am I missing? Thank you.

Sierra please assist.
see attached picture
RVOL is overlayed on volume as average volume but it is not changing with period days.

Do you have enough "days to load" to cover the 60 day period in your chart settings?

Thanks for response.

Yes, number of days are long enough.

It seems RVOL is changing as expected when Accumulation type is "All days" rather than "Day of the week" - i'm assuming Day of week just compares the previous 5 days of the same day? if period is 5 for instance. seems like the period does not change for this setting. Can you explain Sierra? Is this a bug?

Yes this is correct:
i'm assuming Day of week just compares the previous 5 days of the same day?

There is definitely not a problem with the Relative Volume study. Last time someone tried to claim a bug, there was nothing wrong at all. The study works just fine. You just need to understand how the calculations work.

We cannot help you, unless we get that particular chart with the configured study. Refer to:

But we are very reluctant to do this, unless we take this as a chargeable analysis.
