Good Day,

i was reading threw the Forum as im traveling half of the month where Im using my MacBook with a windows partition for SierraCharts but at home I want to setup a fixed desktop PC with windows for only Sierra charts to easier use more than one desktop etc. which means once I come from travel I do need to put my actual save ChartBooks from the MacBook to the other PC (to have the past trades and manuell put in dr

It depends on how you are using your Chartbooks. In general, since you are using the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service, your trade history is kept on our servers, so when you move to your other computer, that information will update when you login.

But, if you use a lot of manual notations and/or drawings, then you will probably want to copy the Chartbook between the two computers. The same is also true if you use Market Depth data.

I use multiple instances with the same chartbooks and I regularly use the File -> Send File to User function and send the chts to myself (same username). You can do this before you exit one instance, after you already saved the chartbook.

ticinotrader thank you, that sounds like what I need :-) Are than the Drawings etc. included? That is basically all I need. I just want to transfer the ChartBooks between the Computers to always have the last used with alle the drawings inside. I only need to transfer between the computers around 1-2 times a month. Thank you
