Could not change stop or limit in live trade

I had a position in profit when AMP Futures deducted the commissions and fees from my account, which took it below full margin requirement. When I noticed my "Available Funds For New Positions" was a negative number, I tried to adjust the stop and limit on the DOM, but they would revert back to their previous location. I hit "Flatten" but that only removed my stop and limit. I then hit "Flatten" again and the position closed.

1. Should I still be able to adjust stops and limits in this unusual situation?
2. I thought that if I have an open position, or several open positions and I hit "Flatten", all positions should be closed and all pending orders should be cancelled. Is this correct?
