Background and Chart Settings (Chartbooks - Groups - Charts)

Dear Support Is there any way that to set alternate chart background / fonts etc for particular chartbook groups? I can setup/create graphic profiles as provided in SC and recall them for Global changes via Graphic Settings - Global; but this as one would expect impacts all charts. As an example I'd ideally like to set Chartbook Group White to White background with all associated settings required given its a white background; and Chartbook Group Black to provide a Black background with all associated settings required given its a Black background. Any help, direction or solutions, gratefully received. Many thanks |

There is no way to do this on at the Chartbook level. You would need to do it at the Chart level by going to the chart and selecting Chart >> Graphics Settings - Chart and then unselecting the option for Use Global Graphics Settings Instead of These Settings. Then once you have the chart setup the way you want, you can duplicate the chart and change the symbol in order to keep the same graphics settings. You would then repeat for the other Chartbook setting it up the way you want. Hi John (SC) Thank you for coming back so quickly. I guessed that was the case but that there might be a way of using another instance (same data source) that would allow me to load a different set of global graphic settings. It a shame there is not a similar combo control on the individual chart setting that would allow you to uncheck the use global setting and load for this chart. Could this be programmed? User92573 Its all the other settings / fonts etc. that would need to be changed as well much like those available in the global settings - otherwise the a study would do it. Many thanks |
