New column every second even if no data?

I have a chart set at 1 second time frame. In Advanced Settings, I have "Include Columns With No Data" checked.

Currently, if there is no data, the new column will not print. It waits until there's data before it prints again and printing the columns with no data. I check the spreadsheet and it functions in the same way.

For the chart, is there a way to force it to show the column even if no data came in?

I was thinking of using a workaround like using a different study to print something every second but didn't see anything that seemed to do this.
