Looking for a way to have a SMA on a RTH and Overnight chart with the SMA only using the RTH data to calculate. Right now I am doing this via a separate chart and then overlay. But was hoping that one of the SMA studies allowed this type of configuration. I looked at the Time Period one but if I understand it correctly that will not work for what I am trying to do. Anyone else have a way of doing this vs the two chart overlay method? SC would it be possible to add the option of picking a time period on a 24 hour session chart to calculate a SMA?
Thanks in advance for any insight you might be able to share

The only standard way to do this is documented here which is probably the method you are already using:
