SC Data Share Class Symbology

I'm using IB with SC data support; I need to chart stocks and send orders to IB with certain share classes (usually A or B class), but after trying extensively, I cannot get SC to recognize the symbols. Typically share classes are referenced with symbology such as XYZ.A, XYZ-A, XYZ A. None of that works.

Am I missing something to get this done? Please advise.

Thank you; however, I'm using SC data...wouldn't there be different symbology (like from Barchart) for charting share classes?

Yes there is different symbology between Interactive Brokers and the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed US equities symbols, and you do have to set up the symbol mapping between the two different symbols.

This can be done through the Global Symbol Settings:
Global Symbol Settings

This is an example of the kind of settings that you need to use:
<settings>
<security-type>stock</security-type>
<symbol>?????</symbol>
<external-service-symbol>?????-STK-SMART-USD</external-service-symbol>
<category>Stocks</category>
<value-format-code>2</value-format-code>
<tick-size>0.01</tick-size>
<use-pattern-matching-characters>true</use-pattern-matching-characters>
<currency-value-per-tick>0.01</currency-value-per-tick>
<description></description>
<default-order-quantity>100</default-order-quantity>
<historical-chart-symbol>?????</historical-chart-symbol>
<historical-multiplier>1</historical-multiplier>
<sc-data-symbol>?????</sc-data-symbol>
<sc-data-symbol-multiplier>1</sc-data-symbol-multiplier>
<sc-data-srvcode>equities.us</sc-data-srvcode>
<time-zone>EST-05EDT+01,M3.2.0/02:00,M11.1.0/02:00</time-zone>
<intraday-start-time>09:30:00</intraday-start-time>
<intraday-stop-time>15:59:59</intraday-stop-time>
<intra-evening-start-time>16:00:00</intra-evening-start-time>
<intra-evening-stop-time>09:29:59</intra-evening-stop-time>
<use-evening-session-times>false</use-evening-session-times>
<realtime-data-client>SC_Exchange_Data_Service_Sub_Client_2</realtime-data-client>
<historical-daily-data-source>SC_EXTERNAL_HISTORICAL_DATA_SERVICE</historical-daily-data-source>
<realtime-data-client>SC_Exchange_Data_Service_Sub_Client_2</realtime-data-client>
<supports-market-depth>false</supports-market-depth>
<currency>USD</currency>
</settings>

So you need to add a new symbol, and replace the ?s with the specific symbols.
