On 2014-02-04 I posted a message, to which I received a response.

I have followed the instructions in that response. I am still not able to get the data feed to work.

My charts work properly when I am using Barchart data feed service direct from Barchart and they work properly with I select SC Historical Data for the Data/Trade Service Settings, using ESH4 as the symbol. The following is an image of my chart book working properly.

My TD Ameritrade account has over $500 in it.
When I switch to TD Ameritrade I get an error message DOWN LOAD FAILED, and on my charts I see SYMBOL NOT FOUND.

I have checked the box Allow Support For Sierra Data Feeds on the Data/Trade Service Settings.

It has been 1 week since I signed up for the SC Data feed and I have not been able to get it to work.

What do I need to do to get it to work?

Update Sierra Chart by selecting Help >> Download Current Version.

When using TD Ameritrade, you need to use the correct symbols. They can be found in File >> Find Symbol. To change the symbols of an existing chart, follow these instructions:

If I am trying to connect using Sierra Real Time Data Connection, why are you telling me the data feed is TD Ameritrade dependent?

Based upon the particular Trading service you are using, in this case TD Ameritrade, it is necessary to use the TD Ameritrade symbols for those to be properly mapped to the Sierra Chart data feed. Otherwise, you will not be able to access the data feed.

I talked to TD Ameritrade. They use /ESH4 as the symbol and I get a DOWNLOAD FAILED Error when I use that.

I had a similar problem today, but with OEC. You probably need to do a "Full Reset" of your symbol data.

I will give that a try. The problem has not been just today. I have been trying for over a week. TD Ameritrade said their Futures data is for ThinkOrSwim only. I think the problem lies there.

User called and problem resolved. The Global Settings >> Symbol Settings required updating.
