Hi support, when connected to trade evaluator, sim mode is not able to be selected. I understand trade evaluator is a sim account but it's helpful to be able to execute trades without them getting counted in the evaluation. This happens on windows or wine.

Interestingly, when running a replay, SC does enter sim mode as expected....sim mode is just not selectable in the menu /trade/trade simulation mode under normal operation.

Yes this is a deliberate design so that there is no risk of someone doing trading which should be monitored and the server is not capturing the activity.

If you want to do simulated trading just simply install another installation of Sierra Chart not using that service but instead using SC Data-All Services.
