Changing to Denali Exchange Data Feed

NB - I have readily the documentation several times...

I am currently subscribed to a CME & Eurex via CQG data feed through AmpFutures, I also pay Sierra $25 a month for package 5 via AmpFutures.

I want to change to the Denali Exchange Data Feed for several reasons, but mainly because the cost is 0.10 USD per contract for order routing.

I am following the instructions from the AmpFurtures website - https://support.ampglobal.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042515233-Sierra-Chart-Denali-Data-Feed-Trading-Technologies-TT-Trade-Routing-Pricing-Setup-Guide

These are the steps I am following:

1. Complete a "Sierra Chart Order Routing Service Trading Account Assignment Request Form"

https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=SCOrderRoutingServiceTradingAccountAssignmentRequestForm

When you say I need to have a funded trading account, does that mean a funded trading account with AmpFutures? If so, does there have to be a min amount in that account?

2. Set up the Denali Exchange Data Feed

https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ServicesActivation#DenaliExchangeDataFeed

Under Available Services
Choose Service Package and Time Period for Usage Time, or "Disabled":
5 - Advanced - $36 USD / Month
Is this the monthly subscription for the Sierra Platform or is it the cost for the Denali Data Feed? If it is the cost for the use of the Sierra PLatform, I was paying $25 with AmpFutures

3. Activate Denali Data Feed Exchanges

4. Make a Payment in to my Sierra Account

I have a few additional questions:

Under the AmpFutures documentation, is says this:

"The Package, Denali, CME Market Data and TT Order Routing Fees will be paid directly to Sierra Chart through the method selected.

Plus Standard trading fees (Commissions, Clearing, Exchange, NFA)"

From what I understand AmpFutures will not charge me any additional fees. These Standard trading fees (Commissions, Clearing, Exchange, NFA) are they included in the 0.10 USD per contract for order routing cost?

Are there any other costs involved other than:

1. The Sierra Platform monthly subscription
2. The Denali Data Feed Costs
3. Denali Data Feed Exchanges Costs
4. 0.10 USD per contract for order routing cost

Lastly if I wanted to add the Eurex data feed, how would I do that and what would the costs be?

To answer your questions:
1. Funded Trading Account: In your case, this is referring to your account with AMP Futures. Any minimum requirement would be imposed by AMP, so you would need to ask them about that aspect.

2. The $36.00 USD you are referencing is for the Sierra Chart Software for Package 5. AMP does charge $25.00 for this, but with their version you can only connect through AMP. If you have a need to connect to another data source, then you cannot do that with the AMP version. Refer to the information here:
Direct Sierra Chart Account

3. You will be charged those Standard Trading Fees from AMP. The $0.10 USD per side for the Order Routing is the one aspect of those costs that will be charged through Sierra Chart.

4. Other costs: No other costs from Sierra Chart other than what you have listed.

5. In order to get the EUREX data, you would need to add the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed. Refer to the information here:
Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed

Ok, Amp confirmed that there are no additional costs.

I have now set-up the Sierra platform subscription directly with Sierra as well as the Denali Feed and activated the CME subscription.

Where will I deposit my funds which I will use to trade with?

You need to deposit your funds for trading with your Broker (AMP). We only supply the software to perform the trades, we are not a Broker.

Hi John,

Following your conversation, I have a doubt in one of your reply, assuming the same parameters of Ronald:

3. You will be charged those Standard Trading Fees from AMP. The $0.10 USD per side for the Order Routing is the one aspect of those costs that will be charged through Sierra Chart.

You mean that these 0,1$ per side for the Order Routing is paid by the Sierra Chart Service Balance ?

For exemple, if in 1 week, I execute 200 contracts of the ES futures (200 buys and 200 sells), it means that I will be charged 200*2*0,1 = 40$ in my Sierra Chart Service Balance ?

I though this 0,1$ would be charged in AMP together with the execution comission.

Thanks in advance

You are looking at an old post and information/situations change. You mention AMP, so we will assume that you are using AMP for your broker.

AMP is no longer supporting the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service, so the $0.10 per side does not apply. You would just be paying the commissions for the trade through AMP.

Hi John,

OK, well noted.

So in case that I have AMP as broker and I have the Order Routing Service with Sierra Chart (+ obviously the Denali Data Feed), then the 0,1$ per side would be billed in my Sierra Chart, is correct?

For exemple, if in 1 week, I execute 200 contracts of the ES futures (200 buys and 200 sells), it means that I will be charged 200*2*0,1 = 40$ in my Sierra Chart Service Balance ?

Thank you a lot.

Normally, yes, but since AMP is no longer supporting the Sierra Chart Order Routing, this is not even possible.

For exemple, if in 1 week, I execute 200 contracts of the ES futures (200 buys and 200 sells), it means that I will be charged 200*2*0,1 = 40$ in my Sierra Chart Service Balance ?

Again. Yes, this would be correct. But it is not possible with AMP.

If you were to get setup with a different broker that supports the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service, then it would work as you have stated.
