Data changing with Study/Price overlay on the Demand Index

I'm currently trying to make some calculations with the Demand index of which need the values of 3 different timeframes. When I use the Study/Price overlay study it works, but the data changes in the past cause of the time difference. Ex. 1 minute has 1 minute intervals, 5 minute has 5 minute intervals, but i need the 1 minute intervals of the 5 minute Demand index. Is there any possible way of getting that because these are not the same as the 1 minute. On the support website it said to contact support if you encounter any of these referencing problems with a built-in study ( Study/Price Overlay Study: Data Changing at Chart Bars Earlier Than Being Referenced in Source Chart), hence this post.

Thanks in advance!

There is nothing about the Demand index which would be relevant to that section you are linking to.

Is there a way of getting the 1 minute data off of a 5 minute chart? I guess that was my main question.

Yes this is done with the Study/Price Overlay study:
Study/Price Overlay Study

But if for some unknown reason it is not working properly with what specifically you need to do with it, then not sure how we can help.

I basically made a spreadsheet trading system with 3 time frames. A 2 minute, 4 minute and 8 minute time frame. I the same indicator on all of them. With a Study/Price overlay I put them all in one place, which is perfectly fine. But the main problem is is that the 4 and the 8 minute time frame update at a different rate (which makes sense). What I want to do is to have the values of the 4 minute and 8 minute, but on a 2 minute basis.

For example:
----------2 min--- ------4 min----------8 min
10:00-----100------------102------------97
10:02-----101------------102------------97
10:04-----102------------103------------97
10:06-----103------------103------------97
10:08-----104------------101------------103

The 8 minute timeframe changes the values for the 10:00 - 10:06 time because that candle is still going. What I would like is to have the value that it has when it closes on 10:02, to stay fixed and not change anymore. Is there any way of doing that?

So I'll explain again since I don't think you understand what point I am trying to make. I have a spreadsheet trading system that uses the Study/Price overlay to overlay my indicator from my 8 minute chart on the 2 minute chart. This means that that indicator has a 8 minute interval in the spreadsheet. All values during that 8 minute will change because that candle is still going. What I want to have it that every time a 2 minute candle is closed, it takes the value of the 8 minute candle as well so that that doesn't change anymore. Because if it does, it changes the data in the past as well on recalculate, which messes up with backtests because the lines are already calculated and show fake results.

As written in my first post. To put it in your words:

A problem that can be experienced with the Study/Price Overlay study relates to when it is referencing a study in the source chart that changes its values at chart bars earlier than the last bar in the chart, or earlier than the prior last bar and any new bars added to the chart, during normal chart updating.

What happens in this particular case is that the changes in the source study at chart bars earlier than the last bar or earlier than the prior last bar and any new bars added to the chart, are not reflected by the Study/Price Overlay study on the destination chart.

There has to be a way to get the 2 minute intervals of an 8 minute chart and fix them every 2 minutes so they don't change.

So after looking at the Demand Index a bit better, it looks like it changes in the past when you reload the charts. I don't know if this is normal behaviour or not.
Kind regards
