Text colour and range colours at number bars

Hi,

By default I use black background and white text colours. I also use shading (range up/down colours) from light to dark.

Text colour (in my case bid x ask are shown in white) are hardly visible for ranges with light colours.

Is it possible to define to show white text colour on dark range up/downs and black text colour on light ones?

What you are asking for is not supported.

But you can use the Input for Use Separate Colors for Text Coloring Method and then use the same coloring logic as you use for the background and then set the separate text colors to colors that will work better for the particular background color. Refer to the information here:

Hi,

I have set 'Use separate colors for text colouring method to 'Yes' in my number bars study. Also modified Range 0-3 into black one. Nothing has changed. Text (bid x ask) is still white. Have I missed something?

You need to set a Text Coloring Method. It would make the most sense to use the same one you are using for the background, then you can select colors that are opposing to what the background colors are.
