I did reach out to TopStep and got this reply back.

"Unfortunately, if a new Trading Combine is started, there is no option to select Sierra Charts due to new accounts not being able to create on their platform. We can only keep existing Trading Combines that are currently running Sierra Charts active. I do apologize for the inconvenience. "

I'll still be using SC for my live account and data, but hopefully we can get some resolution soon, I really do not want to spend the time trying to emulate my needs using an inferior platform. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to push Rithmic to grease the wheels on this.

Thanks

Have there been any updates regarding Rithmic?

Another voice in the choir here. Rithmic, if you're reading this (and it sounds as if you are?), you have a lot of active and potentially active customers who are desperately needing you to work with SC on a solution to this. I'm another one who is currently stuck with a combine using Rithmic, that I can't really work with properly because I'm a SC user and going to stay that way as there is no better platform for what I do.

Please Rithmic, work with whomever you need to, on whatever you need to, to advance the entire industry in a positive direction with full native support for SC. We are all waiting on the edges of our seats.

Any news on the Rithmic data connection? I saw that the zip files for the bridge connection also disappeared from the SC forum, Does anybody still has these zip files?
I am on a trading combine with the Sierra Charts platform, and since my Graphics card broke down, I reinstalled my computer. Now I can't get the bridge files anymore?? to have my combine working again.. :-(
Any suggestions how to solve this?

In some post SC support wrote the interface problem with Rithmic would be an easy fix within 1 or 2 weeks of coding.
I wonder what is going on behind the curtain if anything at this point.

Nah....afaik, the "own exchange" project is on ice.

We think what you might be referring to is that should not take more than a couple of weeks of work to create a basic interface, for trading, using the DTC protocol.

Rithmic is working on a direct interface to Sierra Chart using the DTC protocol. We do not know what the status of that is.

I am another voice in the choir here, but waking up late about SC not available for Topstep: joining with j4ytr4der, User389151, User964132, User814219, User701453, ertrader, User267701, User155105, fxzen, User138602,appreciate John-SC support for posting the bridge files. Thanks John.
Tried Topstep 5 years ago and failed the combine using Sierra Charts for my first time. Got hooked on that trading on the chart style. Previously used TS, CQG, and Multicharts. SC is quality no doubt about it. But trading isn't about quality just P&L. So quality that uses less horsepower than any of them others plus code writing for beginners was learnable doesn't matter much either. There is always fresh meat for the markets to grind up and throw away. I hate to leave SC but if Rithmic can't work something out then will employ a workaround. Best of luck to all of you and good hunting.

Regarding post #34, any update ?

Meanwhile, since many FT programs (TopStep, LeelooTrading, OneUpTrader, etc) rely on the Ninja + Rithmic combo, is there any kind of 3rd party bridge available between SC and NinjaTrader maybe ?

Rithmic is actively working on new integration for Sierra Chart using the DTC protocol.

We heard from them as soon as yesterday in regards to technical questions.

Adding my voice here to follow. Want to join TopStep but they don't yet allow Sierra Chart.

Do you guys have any update from Rithmic since January?

Hi Support

Any update on the Rithmic option please? I'm currently using TradingView on Topstep so going to have to give up my Sierra membership if it can't be supported.

Many thanks

Dean

Asked the same question on a different thread but didn't get an answer.

Any update on Rithmic's new integration? Looking to start a Topstep combine but can't use Sierrachart.

Can't use SC... why not? Rithmic works fine currently, I haven't done TopStep but I thought they used Rithmic like everyone else...?

It's because the Rithmic bridge is deprecated, no longer supported and will be removed at some point, so there is an ongoing process to get switched to the DTC protocol.

TopStep went ahead and stopped Sierra Chart from being an option for new combines and accounts due to this, there may be more to it but that's the jist of it and my understanding.

I'm waiting too, and now that i'm fully funded at TopStep i've cancelled my Denali feed with Sierra as I plan on just trading the funded for now instead of my own money. When my next Sierra renewal comes up I will likely not continue that either if it's not resolved by then, which is in roughly 5 months. I really hope they work it out as Sierra is hands above better then the other options.

Rithmic is working on the new interface, not us. Therefore, you would need to check with Rithmic on how the work is going.

Regarding Rithmic and the DTC protocol, Rithmic has completed that development, and we are doing testing now. So hopefully it is just a matter of a week or so before this is released.

I noticed there was a new option in the data trade services dialog for "Rithmic Direct DTC" but that this is not enabled for my package.

See Screenshot.

Is this the new mechanism to connect to Rithmic and when will we able to use it ?

Thanks
